Private E2E dinner in conversation with Rowan Gormley, Founder of Naked Wines.

I was honoured and delighted to join Shalini, Chief Executive at E2Exchange and other guest for an inspirational private E2E dinner in conversation with Rowan Gormley, Founder of Naked Wines.

Rowan is a South African born serial entrepreneur who was instrumental in setting up Virgin Money and Virgin Wine before he took the risk and founded Naked Wines which shipped 20,000 bottles per day supporting 100 winemakers across the globe. After the acquisition of Naked Wines by Majestic Wine Rowan was appointed group CEO.
Rowan has been instrumental in shaking up the wine industry with his focus on money being spent on what’s in the bottle rather than marketing and advertising. Naked Wines’ ‘Angel’ Investors have changed the lives of 106 winemakers in 65 countries around the world.

At the dinner Rowan provided great insight by sharing his personal experiences as an entrepreneur. It was a great opportunity to share in his entrepreneurial journey, speaking personally; Rowan will walked us through how he has achieved his success, as well as the inevitable trials and tribulations of his journey and had a few wise words of advice for us all.

The private dinner was hosted in the stylish South Place Hotel, London and was attended by 20 selected guests of distinguished entrepreneurs and will be co-hosted by Olswang. It was a great opportunity for us to engage in some lively discussion around promoting entrepreneurial activity in the UK.
