International End Violence Against Women & Girls Day Event.
The Voice of a Woman hosted an inspiring evening at The Hospital Club, marking the International End Violence Against Women & Girls Day, by showcasing photojournalism work from female photographers and documentary filmmakers.
The exhibition featured works by Tara Todras Whitehall, Samjhana Moon, Samar Hazboun and documentary filmmaker Kim Longinotto.
Speakers where Dr. Scilla Elworthy founder of Peace Direct, Gerry Lejeune OBE founder of Women’s Aid, Lisa Gormley Amnesty International and legal adviser Women’s Rights and Dr. Nadje Al-Ali chair of SOAS Gender Studies.
The evening ended with and excluding VIP dinner and drinks.
